Despite obtaining her commercial pilot’s license, Brenda shifted her focus to drones due to a desire to make aviation more accessible to marginalised communities. She started her own company, LynkD, which offers drone training courses for women and youth, particularly targeting marginalised groups. The courses cover both theoretical and practical aspects of drone flying, as well as business development. Brenda’s company also helps students secure sponsorships for further training and provides support in integrating drones into various industries, such as agriculture, events management, and surveying.
