As per The Drone Rules, 2021 published by the Indian Government, anyone who wants to fly drones above a certain size would require a pilot license. The drone pilot licenses are bifurcated into different levels for various sizes and applications of the drones. And these licenses can only be issues by DGCA approved training institutes.
